You can check out Billboard Live if you would like to see their promotion of Elliott's Japan concert tour.

It looks like Elliott will be re-releasing his holiday recordings in just a few months. There's a listing for it on AOL and at Walmart. The Walmart page includes a track listing. It shows two additional songs: Back Door Santa and Christmas Without Carol. The drop date is October 7.

Elliott received 7 nominations for the 2008 StarShine Magazine Music Choice Awards. The categories in which he received nominations are: Best Ballad, Favorite Male Artist, Independent Artist of the Year, Best New Artist, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and Artist of the Year.

The press release reads, in part: StarShine Magazine’s nominees were chosen by the staff based on not just success in the music industry, but also success in the magazine itself. “We don’t nominate artists StarShine hasn’t featured or interviewed,” says president, Sandy Lo. “Every artist nominated has appeared in StarShine Magazine in the past year and that’s an important rule to us. We don’t want to sellout just to draw in big names. It’s not fair to the smaller artists we enjoy promoting; artists other magazines may ignore to sell more copies by featuring only paparazzi-adored stars,” continued Sandy. “That’s not the kind of magazine StarShine is or ever will be.”

Elliott made the sports section at inRich.com following his appearance at the Richmond Braves game on Saturday. The Braves manager said about Elliott: "He looks to be a prospect - just not in baseball."
